DNS2Go is a dynamic DNS service, that makes your computer accessible anytime, anywhere by associating it with a domain name and assigned IP address. The DNS2Go client software runs in your system tray and monitors your IP address for changes; if it detects a change, it will immediately update your selected domain name (e.g myname.dns2go.com) making sure that you can always be reached under that domain, regardless of your current IP address or location. With a static domain name, you can run server applications from your computer, run your own web site, share files and much more. Additional features include time synchronization, integrated networking tools, dial-up support, proxy/firewall support and more. DNS2Go can optionally run as NT Service and report to the Eventlog. Price reflects a yearly service fee.
