DirMonitor allows you to monitor selected folders, processes and files for changes (creation, deletion or modification), and to watch for the creation of specified files. If a change is logged, you will be notified with a system tray message and an option to automatically run a program (trigger event). You can specify monitoring options for each item independently, monitor folder structures recursively, and apply additional filters to exclude certain files from the monitoring. In addition, the program offers to automatically backup the monitored files and keeps a detailed log of all changes. Other features include password protection, Rijndael and Blowfish encryption and more.
