DivX authoring program DivX Author is a DivX authoring program that can convert your video files to DivX format, and allows you to edit them by combining movies, cutting unnecessary frames and more. You can create movies with DVD-like navigation menus and chapters, even custom subtitles and audio tracks. The program includes several template styles that can be customized to your preference. Once you created your movie, it can be previewed as a simulation and then converted it into DivX format, optimized for DVD, CD or other output sizes. DivX Author can convert all popular video formats, so there are no additional conversion steps needed. The output can be viewed on a computer (DivX codec required) or played on a DivX Ultra Certified DVD player.
