You can fully customize the index file, select which data to include, headings to use, date format, file sorting and many other details. The program supports user designed output templates and can filter the directory list by file type, name and folder. First of all, I created something similar a while back with batch file use and other means and it worked well for me, however, this is put together nicely with many options, and actual UI, and a far better looking .html output. That said, this is an excellent html list with links to your files and folders, execute setups right from the links which is what I did for mine but again, this is all in a nice neat package and I will be using this from now on. I needed a program or function that would let me save a list of files in a folder or directory as an html file. This little gem does just that. It can save subfolders too which was a plus for me as I use it a lot for mp3 files and folders. It has many options yet I found it simple to use and the interface isn't cluttered. A small, fast program, just unpack the zip file and you're ready to go. It doesn't go through an installation process so if you don't need it, it can be easily deleted. A well thought out program, you can have it as simple or as sophisticated as you like. It was particularly useful for indexing folders behind password protected pages, but it obviously has many more applications. I haven't used it long enough to find any bugs but so far, it has done exactly what I was hoping it would do. showShow review details
