DeepTrawl
scan your site for problems
DeepTrawl enables webmasters to scan their website for broken links, slow loading pages, missing images, incomplete meta tags as well as a variety of other errors and common HTML problems. The program offers a unique interface that has a web browser/searchengine look and feel to it and includes interactive links that enable you to explore problem specific options and details. From the initial start page you can select which problem to scan for, customize the settings for each scan option (e.g. exclude HTTP error codes, scan for keywords etc.), and then define the scope of the scan by optionally excluding directories or domains. DeepTrawl offers a rather unique set of scan options that goes beyond your regular link checking features and even includes features to scan for profanity, text in links and other things that could be of concern for webmasters that run blogs, forums or other sites that include user submitted content. An integrated HTML editor allows you to open the source of a problem page with the error highlighted for editing. Other features include scheduled scans, report export to HTML or CSV and more.
Pros: Extensive scanning options; flexible settings; fast scanning
Cons: Error reports cannot be sorted by error type or other aspects
