Coolringer enables you to create ringtone compatible MP3 files from existing MP3 or WAV files. It analyzes the input file and attempts to extract the section of the songs that includes the chorus. By default, the program extract 30 seconds of music, but you can change this setting if you want a longer or shorter ringtone. Coolringer does not offer any ringtone specific format conversions, nor can it transfer your ringtone to your phone. The program is limited to MP3 output, therefore the output file can only be used as ringtone if your phone supports this.
