distort and morph pictures CONTORT is a fun program for distorting pictures and producing surreal effects. Try it with a close-up human portrait of a friend or family. The (contorting) of the image takes place in selectable rectangular zones which can be sized and positioned. Contorting here means explosion, implosion, nudging and twisting using a stretchable rubber mat principle. Contrast/brightness/gamma adjustments, rotation and blushing (not airbrushing) in the same style of rectangular zones are all possible. Other features include merging of pictures, pixel shuffling and recursion to produce echoing effects.
