SnapFiles descripton: optimize your images CompressIt can help you to select the most effective compression format for your image files. It often allows you to further reduce the file size of images even if they have been previously compressed. The program offers an intuitive easy-to-use interface, that lets you open an image and then compare it in JPG, TIF, GIF, PNG and the original format, allowing you to decide which format offers the best quality/size ratio for your need. There are various settings available for the individual formats. You can also create progressive JPG files and interlaced GIF files, in which a low-resolution version of the image appears in a browser while the full image is downloading as well as transparent GIF files and lossless true color PNG files. Additional features include rotate, mirror and zoom options.
