Compare & Backup is an easy to use backup and synchronization software that allows you compare the source to the destination before you perform any copy or delete operations. For easy reference, the compare results are divided into 5 different tabs, each containing a list of files that meets the following criteria: Newer than destination, Older than destination, Can not find destination, Can not find source and Only size changed. By looking at the tabs and file listings, you can easily see the different between source and destination location and use the copy functions to copy files in a tab to the destination or from the source, delete files that are redundant and more. While the tools provides an easy overview, it lacks project management, advanced settings, filters etc. and can only work with one directory (subdirectories) at a time Good for occasional backups, where you want to make sure what is being copied or deleted.
