customizable command shell ColorConsole is an alternative to the standard Windows command shell (cmd.exe). It offers support for multiple tabs, customizable font and background colors, shortcuts for favorite commands and more. The program offers more than just simple color schemes, it actually enables you to format and color selected text portions similar to a word processor, and you can then export the formatted session to a HTML file or RTF document - great for educational purposes. You can also save frequently used commands for quick access, run Chdir by selecting the folders from an Explorer menu (instead of having to type the path) and also print a copy of your session. No installation required.

Not everyone uses the command line on a Windows computer regularly, but for those who do, this is a useful program. The different color options are worth a look, and the program is small and no-install, so can be run from a pen drive. showShow review details
