clipboard tool ClipMate is a powerful tool, that enhances the native Windows clipboard functionality by remembering all items (both text and graphic) that are copied to the clipboard and storing them in "collections" for later pasting. You will never accidentally lose a piece of clipboard data again! The program includes tons of features including options to revisit web pages, launch URLs, view thumbnail images, convert text to HTML and much more. The ClipBoard Explorer allows you to edit selected items, clean up text entries, spell check text, take screen captures and much more. All data is stored in a relational database, that advanced users can query, using standard SQL. Additional features include optional encryption, network support and much more.

Clipmate is without question one of the most used and useful programs I have on my computer. No greater complement could be made of this long time software award winner then to say it's one of the first programs I install when I have to reformat my computer. Clipmate can hold thousands of clips in easy to get at folders, and you can use drag and drop to effortlessly move them around. Other features include an editor that allows you to make all sorts of extremely useful changes to the clips, a screen capture tool that gets everything from an item to multiple screens, and an option that allows you to see the item to be pasted in the task bar. Nice! Some people might say that $35 is a lot for this kind of utility, but after using this program for several years, and knowing how incredibly useful it is, I would pay that sum in a heart beat.
