Civil Netizen is a file delivery system that enables you to transfer large files without email attachments or file uploads. The program acts as a local server and serves the files directly from your PC. In order to send a file, you need to create a package (parcel) and then email a pick-up slip (a complex text signature) to the recipent, who also needs to have Civil Netizen installed. The recipient can then download the package directly from your computer. Civil Netizen works with files up to 4 GB in size. It compresses the content of the package (which can drastically reduce the size of text based files) and secures the transmission between sender and recipient using 128-bit AES encryption.
