disk cataloging tool cdTree is a media cataloging tool, that will let you catalog and categorize CDs, CDRs, CDRWs, Hard Disk directories, Floppies, Zip Drives, DVDs and Audio CDs for offline browsing and searching. You can optionally add notes and user-configurable fields for any of the objects in the catalog. cdTree also enables you to password protect a specific catalog file, create custom categories, search the catalog content, view CD statistics and more. Additional features include sprint support, backups, custom fonts and icons. This version is free to keep. Several additional features are offered in a Pro version, which it frequently nags you to upgrade to.

Does exactly what i need. no less, no more. 5 stars by pascal
I have tried about every program in the cataloging section and I always go back to CdTree as it does exactly what I need. i.e. a list of all my dvd's and cd's, the detail of the content and the size. As for the nagging, it is a bit annoying at the beginning but once you have ticked the "do not show that screen again" you are not bothered anymore. showShow review details

I am using cdTree for a year an it helps me get to know where is that song, video or lecture,in couple of seconds. Without this soft i couldn't find anything in my DVDs. P.S. I heard that new version is coming. showShow review details
