verify the integrity of files on a CD CDCheck can check each of your CDs and DVDs and indicate which files are corrupted. It also provides a comparison option that lets you select a reference directory and compare the files on disk (or other media) with files on the CD or vice versa. Additional features include creation of CRC files, file recovery, detailed error reporting and more. Does not work with Audio Cds.

Trial Limitations: 30 day trial. Some features disabled.

Extremely disappointed 1 stars by Bowman
After running a bit-by-bit comparison on a disc with CDCheck, no errors were reported. Upon a quick test of the video files I'd burned, I found one would not play. When I ran the comparison test on this file alone, CDCheck reported an error (2% match). The problem is reproducible. In a second test, CDCheck mistakenly reported an error in a file which was in fact a perfect copy (as verified by "MD5summer"). My disappointment is rather bitter because I've used CDCheck for a couple of years now, and this throws into question the integrity of all the data and media I archived away after running it through this utility. Think I'll use MD5 from now on... showShow review details
