mute sounds from the command line BatchMute is a very simple tool that lets you mute or un-mute all system sounds from a batch file or command line. Even though very simple, it can be quite useful to create one-click shortcuts or to mute sounds during certain time periods (e.g at night) by using Task Scheduler to launch BatchMute via command-line. Examples for command-line usage are included. Note: Batchmute will work under Vista and 7 but it must be run in compatibility mode.
