avast! Professional Edition is a complete antivirus package for small office home office use. It includes an on-demand scanner to scan files or directories as needed as well as an on-access scanner for automatic scanning of all files being opened, read and written. In addition, a behavior blocker monitors for dangerous actions. avast! Professional Edition also includes an E-mail scanner for incoming and outgoing mail, that integrates with most mail clients. Additional features include script blocking, boot time scanning, right-click access from Explorer, screen saver integration, archive scanning and more. Virus Chest, the built-in quarantine environment safely stores infected or suspicious files. The program offers frequent, incremental updates at least twice a week, or as needed when new viruses emerge.
