backup files to a USB drive Automatic USB Backup is a backup tool that automatically synchronizes your important files to a USB drive (or other external drive) as soon as you insert the device. You can select one or more folders, exclude certain files and choose between several different backup methods. As and additional safety measure, the program can create an additional backup of any files that are deleted during the synchronization. The backup operation can be performed with or without user interaction. Automatic USB Backup works as advertised but has some significant shortcomings, as it does not allow you to add files or folders to a backup without having to reconfigure the entire set, which can be difficult if you selected a fully automatic backup. The program also lacks proper documentation.
