Ascendis Caller ID is a CallerID software for your PC, that works with your telephone company`s caller id service to log and announce incoming phone calls. You can also block or ignore calls from specific numbers, or mark know callers with special ring tones. In addition, you can send email notifications of calls, enable text-to-speech to announce the call aloud, look up additional phone number information over the web and more. The program also offers several additional features, not often found in other caller id programs, this includes support for TiVo (Series 2 with Media Center) and network access via web browser to caller id logs. The built-in HTTP server enables you to access the caller id logs from any computer on the network, with a password protected interface (optional). In addition, Ascendis Caller ID supports advanced scripting actions that allow you to specify highly customized actions fr specific calls. Other features include import/export, import from ACT!, caller log database, customizable phone number formats and more.
