Pretty good program 3 stars by LeahsChoice Dec 16, 2009
I've been using Arachnophilia for about two years. It has never crashed, and at the time, it was the only editor I could find that would work with Vista. The interface takes a little getting used to. It has a few wizards, but since I prefer to create my own tags, I've ignored them. Those are the "pros." There is one serious "con." The author of the program is extremely rude. If you have a problem, or if you don't understand something and contact him, his attitude is offensive and insulting. It is unlikely you would be able to explain the problem to him to his satisfaction. For that reason, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, because of the author's attitude, I'll give it a 5. If it came with a courteous author, I'd give it an 8. showShow review details
It needs work. 3 stars by gimpguy Oct 07, 2008 (Read all my 1072 reviews)
It's not a horrible editor and has some decent options. However, I felt as though I was finding my way through a jungle after a while, not very user friendly at all. Also, it crashes every so often, likely due to it's own confusion, DK. Anyway, there are numerous other editors that exceed this one and it's better than nothing, better than using a basic text editor in some ways but I would only recommend it if you can't find another out there. Likely you can and will though. It's still decent for a free editor. As with many, it needs work. showShow review details
Previous version was better 3 stars by wauzoo Apr 12, 2008 (Read all my 2 reviews)
I'm not a big fan of this particular html editor, although I am an Arachnophillia user. This version here is user hostile. It's just .. weird - no other way to explain it. It took everything that was good in the prior version and turned it into something evil, in my opinion. I will however repeat something a previous reviewer said - Arachnophillia V4 - MUCH better. I've used it for many years now and quite content with it. showShow review details
