Action Project Manager is just the right amount of added capability for the task manager in Outlook (2007 in my case), adding critically important features like sorting by project, priority etc. as well as a super simple interface for adding tasks and projects. It is everything Outlook's Task feature should have been from the start. I've looked at MANY alternatives, and this hits the sweet spot of simplicity and capability. HIGHLY recommended. Hope they continue to improve it, it is well worth the modest price! showShow review details

This application serves needs which are missing in Microsoft Outlook. However, it causes some delays and isn't as configurable as I had hoped. All and all it is a good product, but it just didn't meet my needs. WORD OF CAUTION: After I uninstalled, I was not able to view my original Outlook Tasks. I'm waiting on tech support to let me know how to resolve the problem. showShow review details
The software developer responded to this review on Apr 06, 2010: We are constantly working on the latest version of ActionProjectManager and we are rewriting it from scratch. Now if anyone does uninstall it and their current tasks do not come back automatically, the fix is simple. Just right click on Tasks | and select Properties. Click on Home Page tab and click the Default button. That will instantly bring back your Outlook Tasks as you last left it. Thanks
