reduce noise in digital photos AKVIS Noise Buster is a Photoshop compatible plug-in for noise suppression in digital photos and scanned images. It offers a fully automatic filtering mode that does a good job in eliminating most common noise, and you can further tweak the settings to achieve results that meet your personal preference. The program offers a before and after view that allows you to compare the results with the original (not side by side though, but indifferent tabs). Overall we saw decent noise elimination, but very slow interface and performance. AKVIS Noise Buster is compatible with Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Jasc paint Shop Pro and other editors that support Photoshop plug-ins. Copyright Snapfiles.com

I find that most snapfiles reviews are right on and hard for me to elaborate on something when it's already said. So with the risk of being redundant, yes, it works well and yes, it's a very sluggish plugin. There are plugins for free as in Gimp that will do a better job, or even stand alone freebies so taking that into consideration v.s. the price of this, eh... I guess one can try it out but personally, I don't feel it's worth it. show Review details
