No doubt this is and always has been a top notch image app, although, I was taken by the price as I have been lately with many "PRO" versions of software. Seems a trend to pay a high price for pro versions, maybe it's just me but I would never pay that much for this. I found Pictomio to be a fair equivalent to ACDSee pro and it cost nothing. So while I have nothing bad to say about ACDSee pro, app wise, it's not good enough to pay that amount for. If it was 39.00 , eh, maybe. It's a resource hog if you have a slower pc, I am fortunate so didn't really notice on mine too much but it is very smooth, has numerous features, pretty much everything you could ask for. showShow review details

It is far better than Adobe's Lightroom, but if you don't have the latest and greatest PC then you'll have to live with somewhat sluggish performance. Nevertheless it is still my default image-viewer. showShow review details
