manage windows 3D-style T3Desk provides a 3D alternative to managing your open windows. Instead of minimizing them to the Windows taskbar, the program allows you to arrange your inactive Windows in a 3D environment on your desktop where they can be flipped, zoomed, moved, swiveled in almost anyway you want. To `3Dmize` a window, you can simply right-click it`s minimize button (instead of the standard left-click) and the window will become inactive, yet visible on your 3D desktop. You can configure various aspects of the program, including the initial rotation angle, transparency levels, windows size and more. Other features include window zooming, hotkeys to 3Dmize/Restore all windows, support for sound effects and more.

What I found using T3Desk is a fair interface but nothing spectacular. It seemed more of an annoyance the way I had to keep zooming in or flipping the windows around. Also, this was not the first time trying T3Desk and I noticed sometimes the windows go off the screen and you can't always get them back until you close out of it in the task bar. It's not all bad of course, if you like this sort of thing, it's a neat application and I would like it too with some major improvements. There are some that do far more and look far better with better handling, albeit not free so weigh the options. I would still recommend this to people who may enjoy it and I do think it's all in all a great 3D desktop. showShow review details
