change the Modified Date in Outlook ArchiveAssist for Outlook enables you to change the Modified Date of email messages in Outlook, allowing you to successfully archive message that were received or sent within a specific time range but have been modified since, and are therefore not included by Outlook`s archiving method. Outlook does not archive messages based on their Received Date or Sent Date but on their Modified Date, which can change if a message is subjected to such operations as Searching, Editing, Copying, Importing, Forwarding, or Replying. As a result, you may not be able to archive messages that fall within a certain time frame if they have been modified at a later time. ArchiveAssist helps you overcome this problem by allowing you to set the Modified date to match the Sent or Received date, or any other date you choose. In addition to changing the Modified date, you can also use the program to delete messages across multiple folders (based on the Modified date).
