After you install 8GadgetPack, you will see the familiar Vista sidebar and can choose which gadgets you want to install. If you lover your desktop gadgets and want to bring them back to your Windows 8 computer, this will do the trick. The program is a modified version of 7Sidebar (from the same developer), which performs the same functionality for Windows 7 users. The settings dialog still refers to 7Sidebar.
