MemInfo is a small tool, that runs as an icon in the system tray and displays the current memory (RAM or Page File) usage in a mouseover hint. The dynamic tray icon also indicates current memory usage with a colored bar. When you double-click the tray icon, it will launch the standard Windows Task Manager. MemInfo also includes an option to defragment your memory, and it can warn you on high memory usage.

AnalogX MaxMem is a realtime physical memory management program that automatically ensures that you always have as much physical memory available as possible. It does this by allowing you to set minimum amounts of memory to be made available under certain circumstances, and then passively monitoring how much system resources are being used. It runs in the system tray, and also shows you exactly how much memory you have available, plus graphs how you ve been using memory over the last 60 seconds! Memtest86 is a standalone memory diagnostic tool that runs from a CD on system boot. It executes a series of numbered test sections to check for errors. These test sections consist of a combination of test algorithm, data pattern and cache setting. The execution order for these tests were arranged so that errors will be detected as rapidly as possible. Tests 8, 9, 10 and 11 are very long running extended tests and are only executed when extended testing is selected. Memtest86 supports all types of memory and can be run on any operating system. You will download an ISO file that you can burn to CD.

MemTest is a RAM reliability tester. It evaluates the ability of your computer s memory to store and retrieve data. FreeRAM XP is a small, yet powerful memory manager and optimizer that allows you to free unused Ram. Unlike many other tools, FreeRAM XP offers a fully automatic mode that can free a balanced amount of Ram rather, based on your current system usage. In addition, the program allows you to create shortcuts that free Ram before a specified program is launched, free the clipboard and comes with an interactive tray icon that displays the current memory usage as pie or bar chart.

Fast Defrag is a tool that can free and optimize RAM and the swap-file usage. It displays current memory usage and statistics and can also be run from the command line (useful for automation). Fast Defrag cleans only the memory that was filled by previous loaded applications and does not remove Windows components or active programs from memory. The program also includes access to system configuration, running processes, startup programs (msconfig.exe) and more.

RAM Medic allows you to free up some of your memory, so that it is available for other applications and can increases performance. You can set it to auto-optimze at a certain memory level or on a fixed frequency. In addition, you can also run a manual cleanup at any time, or use keyboard hotkeys to attempt to clear a specific amount of RAM

Free RAM Optimizer XP is a small utility that runs in the system tray and monitors your memory usage. If the available memory drops below a certain level, it will automatically attempt to free a specified amount of RAM, making it available to other applications. The tray icon indicates your current memory usage and you can also perform manual free-ups in 6mb increments.

MemMAX is a memory optimizer and statistics utility. Features include fast and efficient memory optimization, command-line execution mode, VCache settings and real time memory usage statistics. Use MemMAX to free memory before running large memory hungry applications such as the latest games or cad/graphics tools. MemMax also offers command line options.
