MWSnap is a small yet powerful program for taking scren captures of a desktop, an active window,menu, or a specified part of the screen. The program supports BMP, JPG, TIFF,PNG and GIF formats, with user selected color depth and quality settings. It also includes a zooming tool, a screen ruler and a color picker as well as system wide hotkeys and preset selection sizes. A very nice program, one of the best - if not the best, you can currently find for free.

SiteShoter enables you to capture screenshots of any website by simply entering the URL and selecting some options. You can choose from full-size captures, set a specific browser size, crop the capture to custom specifications and optionally resize the output to a percentage of the original. The program uses Internet Explorer to load and capture the website in a hidden window and saves it to .png, .jpg, .tiff, .bmp or .gif format.

Gadwin PrintScreen is an easy to use one-click screen capture tool, that captures the contents of your screen. HoverSnap is a small but powerful screen capture utility that can capture the entire desktop, the active window or custom areas on the screen and save the image to JPEG, GIF, BMP or PNG format. The program also includes a thumbnail feature that can automatically resize the capture and save it as thumbnail version instead. Cropper can save images in BMP, JPG and PNG format.

AviScreen Classic enables you to capture screen activity, and save it as AVI video or Bitmap images. The program allows you to define the capture area by size, or Windows object - however does not provide any on-screen guide during the recording. AviScreen offers a unique `follow the cursor` feature that will stay within the user defined size, however pan the video to follows your cursor. The program is good for quick and easy recordings, however the captures can be extremely large in size (2mb per second), unless you convert them to a different format or use DivX for video compression.

WebShot enables you to capture full size or thumbnail screenshots of webpages and save the resulting image in JPG, PNG, GIF or BMP format. You can either capture the entire page (fully scrolled) in full size or tweak the browser window and resizing settings to create a thumbnail image of the site. Grabtxt is a simple utility that enables you to capture the text portions from many Windows dialog boxes. The captured text can be copied to the clipboard (Ctrl+C) or used to search for details via Google or Live.com with the provided shortcut buttons. The program can be useful if you need to copy an error message for a bug report or want to find out additional information via online search engines without having to manually type the text.
