PhoneTray is an easy to use Caller ID software, that can show and speaks the caller`s name and number before you answer the phone. You can choose to set a different ringtone for different type of callers and automatically zap telemarketers with a special disconnected tone. In addition, the program can play a Do-not-call warning, instructing telemarketers to remove you from their lists. PhoneTray can also reject other types of unwanted calls (blocked number, out of area etc.) by answering and playing a user defined message (some samples included). Another handy features, is the option to keep a log of all incoming calls, which can be filtered by date and type of calls. You need CallerID service, a compatible modem, as well as a phone line connected to your PC.

Vista Caller-ID is a simple CallerID software that runs in the system tray and displays the name and number of the current caller in a small pop-up window. The program can also announce the caller with a virtual voice and log all incoming calls to a text file. If you are using Microsoft Outlook, you can activate Outlook integration which will try to match the caller to your contacts and display a picture (if available).

AnalogX CallerID allows you to view who is calling you, and maintains a log of all received calls, along with statistics per caller (how many calls, last call etc.). It runs in the system tray and brings up a dialog window (optional) that displays the name of the caller, as well as the location of the call. AnalogX CallerID works with any Unimodem/V-compatible voice modem that has Caller ID support.

Call Alert! alerts you when a phone call arrives and displays the CalerID information in a popup message from the system tray. In addition, the program can block telemarketers and any other caller that you add to a block list and offers a built-in phone book that allows you to customize the caller display. If you have text-to-speech installed, you can also let the program speak the name and number of the caller aloud.

POPPager will monitor a POP3 mailbox and forwards new mail to your pager or GSM. The program sends the mail to the pager/GSM (via your modem) based on the phone number that is in the subject of the mail, so you can use a central email account as a deposit location for any mail sent to any pager. The freeware version is limited to 1 (one) client.
