<title>Great search tool (Lookeen Search for Outlook)</title>
<description>User opinion: I#039;m using it now for about a month and I#039;m very satisfied. So far it gives me fast and reliable search results. I do use several
.pst files for my different accounts I have in Outlook, and Lookeen
finds everything almost instantly. It#039;s performance as an desktop
search is also pretty good. I can totally recommend this small tool,
it really does save a lot of time by not searching but finding what
you#039;re looking for.

<title>Great software (KeePass Password Safe)</title>
<description>User opinion: I have used this for a number of years moving from Version 1 to the current version 2.09

Using the safe means that you can double click the URL and then copy username and passwords when logging in which defeats any keyloggers.

There is also a usb drive version equally secure so it is easy to carry your complex passwords around with you.

All you need to remember is the one password to open the safe, the rest is stored.

<title>Great tool with unbeatable support (Simple Port Forwarding)</title>
<description>User opinion: This tool really lives up to its name. Select your router from a list and the program does the rest to set up your port forwarding.

The program also alerted me to the fact that my new modem was also a router - something I did not realize. This modem/router was interfering with port forwarding through my main router. It was not on Simple Port Forwarding#039;s built in list, so I used the companion screen capture tool to send the info to Shane, the developer. He was quick to respond and, through a series of e-mails, patiently walked me through the steps necessary to configure my hardware. I am VERY impressed with the level of support Shane gave me!

<title>Impressive (Benubird PDF)</title>
<description>User opinion: An impressive and very useful program. Benobird PDF
easily manages my multitude of doc and pdf files
which are scattered all over my (external) hard
disks. Benobird indexes all these files and folders
in a jiffy. It organizes all and retrieves specific
files (nearly) with the speed of light. Very
versatile. I like it.

<title>Does the job! (PC Inspector File Recovery)</title>
<description>User opinion: I am SO grateful that someone recommended this program when I accidentally quot;movedquot; rather than quot;copiedquot; files from a flash drive and thought I#039;d lost them. I#039;m not a tech person, but was able to figure out how to use this program, and while it wasn#039;t a straight quot;copy and pastequot; to my hard drive - which may have been due to my lack of understanding - was able to work it out and recover everything. Thank you so much, Snapfiles, for providing this freeware! It, and your service, is much, much appreciated, thank you!

<title>Great program (CCleaner (Slim))</title>
<description>User opinion: Really nice program. I use this on all of my computers and highly recommend it to others. The general cleaner for junk files, unneeded temp and dump files works well.

The registry cleaner works well and will clean out most non-functional or obsolete entries. It is mostly dummy proof so functional entries will not get deleted. There are more powerful cleaners, but you will pay a price for those or you will eliminate data or important registry entries if you don#039;t know what you are doing.

I always use the slim or stand-alone version of CCleaner. I have never had a problem using this software and best of all it is FREE.

<title>Was a good program. (ZoneAlarm)</title>
<description>User opinion: I have used ZA both free and paid in the past.It did a great job back then. But today it needs to be seriously redone. Matousec#039;s firewall tests have shown them to be serious lacking in security. The paid version only caught 72% of the tests. The unpaid version only stopped 11% of the tests. Making it insecure altogether. I no longer recommend or use either of them. There are far better firewalls to be had.

<title>Great on demand trojan scanner (a-squared Free)</title>
<description>User opinion: I use it as a secondarily scan on downloads/system scans. I#039;ve found it to be useful as a Trojan scanner.

<title>A very good program. (SUPERAntiSpyware (Free Edition))</title>
<description>User opinion: I have used this since it#039;s beginnings. I#039;ve always found it to be a very useful program. It does exactly what it#039;s designed to do. I use it as a secondary scanner.I would recommend it to everyone.

<title>A good program. (jv16 PowerTools Lite)</title>
<description>User opinion: I agree that this program shows bit to much
caution.But that#039;s not a necessarily bad thing.
I check each of the things found individually until I#039;m certain the setting match with I want done. After some fine tuning I can say this program work just as I like it and doesn#039;t vary
from it.Using it and other programs of similar nature I find them very effective in combination.
Even as a stand alone it cleaned things other simply missed.

<title>Very effective if used correctly (Wise Registry Cleaner Free)</title>
<description>User opinion: I#039;ve found it to be very effective if used correctly. As with all registry cleaners make sure you know how to use it.I would not recommend it to novice computer users at all. But if your an advanced user you shouldn#039;t have any problems with it.

<title>Was a great program in it#039;s day. (Ad-Aware Free)</title>
<description>User opinion: I agree that at one time it was one of the very best. But now it#039;s become problematic to use and is not effective at all.I can no longer in good faith recommend it to anyone these days. I not longer have it installed. There are far better things you can use other than this software.

<title>A must have. (SpywareBlaster)</title>
<description>User opinion: I#039;ve used this app since it beginnings. I consider it an essential part of my overall security layering. I do recommend it to everyone running a PC.

<title>A tried and true program. (Spybot - SD)</title>
<description>User opinion: I have used this program for yrs now. I would recommend it highly to everyone. I can not remember a machine I ran without it. It#039;s very effective in all that it does.

<title>Simply the best (Comodo Internet Security)</title>
<description>User opinion: I have used many firewalls on many different systems. I have found Comodo the most secure you can get paid or otherwise.
I only use the Firewall and Hips portion as I think their AV leaves a lot to be desired.
It may not be the easiest to use but certainly is the most secure you can get.

<title>Simple to use (Skype)</title>
<description>User opinion: For the most part, I#039;ve had good results with the software. Ive only lost connection once during a video chat. It#039;s very easy to set up and make camera adjustments, etc. The sound and video came over well, with full screen viewing looking good. Give it a try. If you don#039;t like it, don#039;t gripe. Just take it off and move on. It#039;s free.

<title>Winmtr identifies the bad hop (WinMTR)</title>
<description>User opinion: WinMTR traceroutes over and over to give you stats
on current, average, and worst latency at each
hop. Run this for a few minutes and give it an
eye during any network slowdowns, and you#039;ll be
able to identify the quot;bad hopquot; giving your
connection trouble. Maybe it#039;s your local ISP
gateway, maybe their connection to the Internet,
maybe some Internet congestion far away? WinMTR
will show you.

WinMTR also fits my general experience with
SnapFiles: the smaller the download the better
the quality!

<title>Full and fast (mp3DirectCut)</title>
<description>User opinion: Pros: 1) Drag #039;n drop. 2) Very fast. 3) Works on MP3 files directly. 4) Fade 5) Auto-cue feature which let#039;s you split 1 large file in several smaller parts of equal size. 6) Several languages. etc... Cons: 1) Interface could be confusing at first with all the buttons. 2) Read the Help. Faster than Audacity for the tasks you usually do on an MP3 of which you don#039;t want to change the existing quality or sound frequency (tasks as: cut, fade, ...). Better than Megamp3split because of the fading-possibility and because you can configure the way you save cuts more to your needs.

<title>Does the job (HotkeyP)</title>
<description>User opinion: Had a problem with hotkeys nog functioning any longer on Windows (XP/Vista, PC, Laptop, Netbook).
This tiny app (with actually lots of features!) does the job very satisfactory.
Pros: 1) No installation. Just unzip. 2) Doesn#039;t demand too much of your PC when it is loading with your PC. 3) Ability to export/import the hotkey-file between computers. 4) Drag #039;n drop.

<title>Quick and effective (Mega MP3 Splitter)</title>
<description>User opinion: Pros: 1) Can handle large MP3 files. 2) Splits accurately as well in secs as in frames. 3) Fast. It can take too much time for many other programs (e.g. Audacity) to load a large MP3 and do some basic cutting on it.
Cons: 1) Tiny interface-elements. 2) Can#039;t fade-in/fade-out.
