lock your desktop with a pattern Eusing Maze Lock enables you to lock access to your desktop by using customizable lock screen with a patterns based protection method. Instead of typing a password you can use a 9, 16 or 25 point pattern that you draw with your mouse. You can lock your desktop as needed from the tray icon or with a keyboard shortcut and you can choose to automatically lock it after X minutes of inactivity. If somebody tries to unlock your computer with the wrong access pattern, the software will sound and alarm siren and block access for 1-3 minutes or shut down your computer. You can configure these settings from the options dialog. Other features include custom background image or transparent overlay, pattern backup, optional keyboard locking, and more. Maze Lock does not replace your normal Windows login and using the lock screen will not log you off. Pattern based lock systems are usually inferior to strong password methods but can be more convenient on touch devices.
