automate your tasks RoboTask enables you to automate any combination of tasks on your computer, ranging from simply launching web pages, to checking email, moving or backing up files to uploading or downloading, sending email and much more. The program allows to easily create simple task, as well as highly complex automations, involving conditional IF/ELSE statements, loops, custom variables and other advanced options. RoboTask can accommodate just about any type of simple or complex automation, without the need to create batch files or write complicated scripts, as it uses a visual interface that lets you simply select and combine action to fit your needs. The extensive support for conditional actions allows you to not only create automated task, but they can also be executed automatically if certain conditions apply (e.g if a file is moved, if your internet connection goes down, if there is new email etc.). RoboTask can run as Windows Service, allowing you to have automated tasks take place, even if you are not logged on. A powerful tool, that provides one of the highest levels of flexibility in its class.

I set out with a challenge, I needed to print a text file every night at midnight. The problem was the name of the text file changed, and if no errors were reported that day no text file would be created - and I didn't want error messages about a missing text file. The text file had the format ddmmyy_textfile.txt. Robotask does this without missing a beat. The built in automatic processes can be expanded through custom variables defined by the user. It took a short time to become familiar with the special 'variable scripting' language, but once I did it was a breeze to use. I liked it so much I bought a license :) showShow review details
