- WinMessenger now distinguish between `read` and `unread` messages. Newly received messages automatically marked as `read` when user looking on it for over 5 seconds.
System tray icon now shows the number of unread messages.
Under Windows XP SP1 WinMessenger now uses latest Rich Edit 5.0 component, as result the program works faster and requires less memory.
Text boxes now have more consistent Windows XP look with flat colored frames.
All WinMessenger executables and DLLs now digitally signed with VeriSign digital signature, as result it can be running in secure Windows XP environment.
Built with latest Platform SDK, so now it even more reliable and compatible.
Several others small bugs were fixed.
