- This update adds support for financial website logon screens which ask for three different characters from your password rather than the password itself. Most online banks are now changing to this format as it has major advantages in the fight against spyware. When a logon screen asks for characters 1,4 and 7 from your password, just type 147 into WebM8 and it will paste in the characters without showing the actual word. To the best of our knowledge, WebM8 is the only password manager to offer support for this type of logon.
