This shows you how often QuickMessenger was updated with us over the past few months. Whenever available, we also include additional information for each update (new features, changes etc.).

version 3.2 - posted on Oct 23, 2004

  • New: Command Line Arguments
    New: Verify if the Messenger Service is started (preferences)
    New: Include the message in reply (preferences) to check/uncheck automatically the Include in reply (incoming message, Incoming Messages History)
    Improved: You can now change the script of the font (Western, Hebrew, Arabic, etc.) in the preferences window
    Fix: The problem with the workstation that can t be found or off is fixed

  • New: Show Incoming Messages in only one window(preferences)
    New: The message length is now unlimited (split in multiple parts). QuickMessenger will join the parts automatically when receiving the message
    New: Search text in the incoming message and the incoming/outgoing messages history
    New: Quick Group, when you want to create a group on the fly
    New: Encrypt Message
    New: Option Ping the workstation before sending (preferences)
    New: Status Bar to show that the message was sent successfully

  • New: Ping the workstation before the NET SEND command to accelerate the processing if the workstation is not found or off (Added the preference Timeout (ms) in the Message Tab)
    New: Window Send message to a group (show the status of each workstation when you send a message to a group)
    New: Window Users (Add/Modify/Delete, Search and Import)
    New: Window Groups (Add/Modify/Delete and Import)
