  • - Reenabled the keyboard handling on the tree list: when the tree list has focus it s possibile to type the first letters of a node to select it.
    After editing the track properties, the current node in the tree list won t be set to the first one. Fixed after it got broken in 2.4.
    Options: fixed ordering of displayed columns.
    Main window: clicking on the column headers will sort the list accordingly.

  • Fixed crash that happened when grouping by Category while no category was defined in the database.
    Edit categories: the Delete button didn t do anything. Fixed.
    Fixed the editing of multiple tracks at once: the ID3 tag in the file was not updated.

    Main window: added the number of root groups in the status bar.
    Scan directory: the dialog remembers the last scanned directory.
    Fixed the parsing of some ID3v2.3 size fields.
    Search results are sorted according to all the visible columns.
    Fixed the Identify function for mp3 s which already had an
    ID3v2 tag.
    Ported to the .NET 2.0 framework.
    The user interface has been polished and made more
    confortable to use.
    Replaced the custom database handling code with SQLite
    to handle very big collections of music files.
    Replaced id3lib with a proprietary ID3v1/v2 tag library:
    this allows to better control what the library is doing
    and to fix bugs, instead of working around them.
    Full Unicode support for ID3v2 tags.
    Added the lyrics field. It ll be saved in ID3v2 tags as
    well.
    Improved the handling of categories: they are now saved
    in the database and you can assign any number of them to
    a track.
    Improved Find: every search result is displayed in a
    separate window.

    ID3 Tag Tools: added `Track number, title` to Fill tag.
    ID3 Tag Tools: Fill tag works even for files which are on CD s or aren t available at the moment (in case you just need to update the data in the DB).
    Prefs: the color and style of the font is saved and restored correctly.

    When doing operations on multiple files (e.g. `Rescan ID3 tags`) and a media is missing, you will be asked to insert it only once, so you won t have to cancel a lot of dialogs in case you don t have a CD at hand.
    Fixed small bug in the internal player: when playing asong with no ID3 tag, it could still display the titleof the previous song.
