The included Import Wizard allows you to import data from various sources, including MS Access database, Excel, text files and many other formats. MySQL Studio is an extremely useful package for anyone that is either administering or using MySQL server on a regular basis, since it not only makes day-today routine jobs a lot easier, but also provides an overall much easier way to manage advanced MySQL functionality.

ESF Database Convert allows you to easily convert between various database formats. It can directly connect to MySQL, SQL Server, Access, Excel, Paradox, Lotus, dBase, Text and other formats, and convert between these formats (SQL Server to MySQL, MySQL to Access etc.). The program offers a simple step-by-step wizard, that allows you to connect to the source database, select the tables, and then convert and copy them to the destination. You can choose to include all data or just copy the structure of the database. The evaluation version will only convert the first 10 rows per table.

Other features include SQL syntax highlighting, enhanced database grids, data filtering, BLOB editing and more.

OmniAudit is an audit tool for Microsoft SQL Server 7/2000, that allows you to automatically and transparently track changes to any column of any table in your databases. Simply select the tables and columns you want to audit, and OmniAudit does everything for you. The program not only captures before and after values for each changed column, but also identifies the user making the change, the date and time they changed it, the workstation the change was made from and the application used to make the change. OmniAudit also includes an Audit Log Viewer utility which allows for easy filtering, extracting, and exporting of the accumulated audit log data. Log viewer and audit tool can be installed separately.

DTM Data Editor is a form-based data viewer and editor, that works with any ODBC source. It automatically generates a form view in addition to the conventional row display, which makes it easy to read and edit the data, without the need for manual SQL queries. It allows you to review and optionally edit the SQL statement before applying it, and can export date to various formats, including HTML, XML, Text and more. Additional features include filtering and sorting of data, logging of data modifications, export, preview and import for large objects (BLOBs) and more.

DataSlave enables database administrators to import, export, convert and validate data from various data sources. It supports ODBC, OLE DB, MS SQL Server, as well as text files, MS Access databases and Excel files. DataSlave uses a unique approach that is based on dragging data elements and validation actions onto a map to visualize the intended actions. It includes more than 80 checks for data validation like postal codes, telephone numbers, US SSN, ISBN numbers and many others, and you can further extend the capabilities with VBScript and Regular Expressions. We found it to be rather difficult to get used to the drag and drop data map design, however a step-by-step tutorial can help you get familiar with the concepts. Overall, a quite powerful and flexible data management tool, but you definitely need to read the documentation and tutorials to get started.

SQLExecMS is a stand-alone tool for MS SQL Server (7.0 or 2000) or MSDE, that simplifies usual duty of database administrators and developers. SQLExecMS does not use SQLDMO, therefore works much faster than Enterprise Manager. It enables you to view and update data in your tables using grid or form field presentations, execute T-SQL statements using a syntax highlighting editor with code assistance and manage your triggers and indexes. In addition, you can analyze tables for defragmentation, view and manage statistics, search for substrings in objects and scripts, generate and execute SQL scripts and much more. The program also allows you to manage databases, perform backups, drop, detach, attach and perform various other tasks. Export recordset into .TXT, .XML, .XLS, .HTML format, generate INSERT INTO script for any recordsets and much more. SQLExecMS is a very capable and fast replacement for Enterprise Manager, if you administer a MS SQL Server, you should definitely check it out!

BaseNow provides a universal user interface to access almost any database file, format or server, including Access, Fox, SQL Server, Oracle and all other ODBC and OLEDB compatible databases. The program looks like Microsoft Access and it allows you to work with data just like in Excel spreadsheets. It offers a tree-style display of all database objects and enables you to run SQL queries, edit data, manage indexes and relationships and much more. BaseNow also provides duplication, data validation, and wizard-driven import/export tools that allow you to exchange data between two different sources and formats. The program is an ideal solution for general purpose and universal database access and management from a single interface regardless of the data source. BaseNow is a swiss-army knife for database administrators.

DBF Converter enables you to convert .dbf files into other database compatible output formats including XML, CSV, TXT, HTML, RTF, PRG, and others. You can also convert the .dbf table into a SQL script that can be used to create the table and insert the data into a new database. If you only need to convert a portion of your .dbf file, the program lets you filter the rows and columns to be converted.

Reportizer allows you to create custom database reports, based on your SQL queries. It comes with a report designer that you can use to create highly customized report templates in a visual or text based mode. It supports expressions, grouping, calculating fields, multi-column reports, summaries and other features to manipulate the formatting of the output. Additional features include export to HTML, TXT or XLS workbook, as well as bitmap export to the clipboard and command line input. Reportizer supports BDE and ADO connections.

DBF Manager lets you access DBF databases and alter both data structure and the data itself. You can set advanced filters, search for records, export to HTML and other formats, view/edit database structures and more. In addition, DBF Manager can also be used to create new database tables. It supports Clipper, dBase and FoxPro databases.

DBF Viewer 2000 is a user-friendly tool for viewing, editing and printing of DBF database files (Clipper, dBase, Foxpro, VFP, DB2K and others). It allows you to view and edit in OEM(DOS) or Windows character sets, get information about fields, find, sort, add, delete/undelete with wildcards, print or pack records. DBF Viewer 2000 does not require any external drivers to connect to an ODBC or BDE database. Additional features include export to HTML, customizable colors, data filters and more.

Superior SQL Builder allows you to visually build complete SQL scripts without typing any code. It can help you save time, and reduce debugging, syntax and logic errors. It allows you to build the framework for the complete script by simply dragging the components into the workspace area. To get started, you first need to understand the concept of elements, output nodes, input nodes and more; the documentation provided is plentiful, but not very helpful. Supports MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server and Access.

MyISQL (Interactive SQL for MySQL) allows you to build SQL queries using a built-in SQL Editor with SQL syntax highlighting or a Visual QueryBuilder interface. You can also automate routine tasks by using the commandline features. Additional features include SQL error highlighting and export to HTML, RTF, and XML format. Additional features include query history, code templates, search/replace and more.

DBF Recovery is a tool to recover data from damaged or corrupted DBF files. It can fix the headers of the file, and also analyze the data structure in an attempt to fix it as well. The program automatically recognizes all popular DBF formats, including Dbase III/IV, Foxpro, Visual Foxpro and others.

FlexTracer enables you to trace SQL-queries for various RDBMS and functions exported by DLLs. It creates a history log containing all invoked operations, as well as their results, parameters and execution times. FlexTracer currently supports Oracle (OCI), MS SQLServer DB-Lib, MySQL, Interbase/Firebird, ODBC, as well as file input/output and registry read/write operations. The created log files can be saved in HTML format for future analysis. Additional features include a customizable script engine, SQL Assembler plugin to merge SQL statements with parameters and more.

Oracle Developer Tools provides an easy interface to view information about your Oracle objects, and in some instances allows the creation and maintenance of objects. It also provides a drag and drop interface for building queries to view, add, update, and delete data. All query results are maintained in a data grid.
