BlogJet allows you to post your blogs directly from your desktop, using a WYSIWYG interface that lets you format the text, insert pictures, links and more. In addition, it also comes with a built-in sound recorder that allows you to record a voice message and post it to your blog as WAV file (requires file upload or FTP account). The program supports all major blog providers, however you cannot post to multiple blogs simultaneously. Advanced users can also edit the HTML code of the post directly, using the code view. BlogJet currently supports Blogger, TypePad, LiveJournal, Blogware, MovableType, b2, .Text, pMachine and DasBlog.

FeedForAll enables you to easily create, edit and publish RSS feeds. It provides an optional wizard that can guide beginners through the process, and allows you to manually create your feeds, or edit any existing feed. The program can automatically update older feeds to conform with RSS 2.0 standards, and supports advanced feed properties like update times, images, categories, comments and more. FeedForAll comes with a built-in spell checker, default feed options, XML preview and integrated FTP client to upload your feeds.

CoffeeCup Flash Blogger enables you to create compact blogs that can be inserted in an existing web site or published on a standalone page. The program provides an easy-to-use interface that lets you manage a simple blog like a diary, and then compiles the complete blog into a Flash file (.swf), and uploads it to your web site. The result is a fool-proof and attractive blog in Flash format, that can be customized in size, and even inserted as part of an existing page.

Feed Editor enables you to create a custom RSS feed without the need for any RSS experience or a steep learning curve. You can import an existing feed for editing or create a new feed from scratch by simply filling in the items and feed options. The program supports enclosures and iPod specific settings, as well as feed logos, and other optional feed items. Feed Editor can also comes with a wizard that can help to create a feed from a HTML page, CSV or XML file. You can preview your feed, export it and also upload it to your FTP account, using the built-in FTP client.

Qumana allows you to post content to several major blog hosts directly from your desktop. It currently supports Blogger, Blogware, TypePad and a few others. The program lets you create standard blog entries by typing in an email-like window (with formatting options), or by simply dragging web content into a work pad. This feature allows you to easily assemble blog entries from text and/or images gathered on the web, and automatically preserves the original formatting, as well as a link to the source site. In addition, Qumana offers different blog styles to choose from (simple, elegant, etc.), as well as custom style options. Qumana automatically maintains a searchable library of your blog entries, and also includes a blog manager (disabled during evaluation).

Feed Mix is a RSS editor that allows you to create custom RSS feeds by extracting items from other feeds and combining them into a new feed. Just load the feed you want to use content from in the left pane of the interface, and add items to your custom feed by simply clicking on a link. You can also add your own entries, using the easy-to-use form interface. The program also includes a basic blog client and a simple HTML editing interface to format fonts in your feed items, as well as integrated FTP upload.

Akti Blog enables you to create your personal blog or web diary without the need for any HTML coding. You can create your blog entries using a diary-style interface with word processor editing and support for photos, audio and video clips. You can choose from several design templates for your blog and then upload it to an FTP account or keep it locally on your computer.

BlogWeaver integrates directly with blogger.com and adds a full-featured visual HTML Editor toolbar to the edit field. You can create enhanced blogs using colors, fonts and images without having to work with HTML tags. It also includes a spell checker and full support for fonts,colors, tables, graphics and links. BlogWeaver also allows you to open HTML files and use them as blogs or save a blog to a local file.
