HDDlife Professional supports only IDE and Serial ATA disks, it does not support RAID disks.

XStart is a simple application launcher that sits in the system tray and provides quick access to your favorite programs, links, folders or documents. The program is easy to use, just drag a shortcut into the launchpad and optionally customize the icon and display text. You can create custom categories to further organize your shortcuts, customize the background color and icon size. Not as feature-rich as other launchers, but easy to use.

Application Mover enables you to move existing software installations to another drive (on the same computer) without having to reinstall the software. Multiplicity enables a user to control up to 2 secondary PCs from a single mouse and keyboard. It allows you to have 3 networked computers, each with it`s own monitor, but no need for individual mice and keyboards - you can control them all from your main mouse and keyboard. The program works remarkably easy, just move your mouse beyond the edge of the screen and it will appear on the monitor to your left or right and allow you to control the computer. As long as your mouse is on the secondary PC, all your keyboard input will be directed to the computer as well. To return to your main PC, simply move the mouse back onto your screen. You need to install Multiplicity on each computer to be controlled and designate one as the primary and up to 2 as secondary PCs. In addition to controlling the PCs, you can also share clipboard content. Other features include password protection and IP security. An optional Pro version is also available that supports up to 7 computers.

If you are running Windows 95/98 or 2000, it also allows you to edit the additional wait and logon screens. The customized screen can be exported and saved as a package. Note: On Windows XP you may have a new boot screen, prompting you to choose between the old version and the new every time you boot.

The demo version can search, but not recover any files.

Parse-O-Matic is a programmable file parser that enables you to edit and manipulate the content of text based files, using a powerful scripting language, that allows you to parse and reformat the data and export it into a different format. Some of the many uses include extraction of contact data from mailing lists, removing bad data, changing characters, splitting or reorganizing files, and just about anything else you can think of. Parse-O-Matic Power Tool supports input from flat text files (ASCII from Windows, Unix/Linux or Mac, EBCDIC from a mainframe, log files etc.), binary (hex), fixed length and variable length records, tab/null/comma-delimited (CSV) and Windows clipboard. While the program is very flexible and allows you to perform many advanced parsing operations, it has a steep learning curve. It comes with detailed documentation and a variety of script samples.

The program only works with application dialogs and not with web page forms.

ScanRnServer is a client/server program that enables you to share your scanner with other machines on the network that have the ScanRN client software installed. You simply install ScanRnServer on the machine that has the scanner installed, and the remote machine can then use the client interface to access the scanner remotely. The scanned document can be saved as JPG file. The trial is limited to the smallest resolution supported by your scanner until it is registered.

DUST (Direct User Switching Task) enables you to switch to another user session, using a keyboard hotkey. It can optionally bypass the welcome screen and login automatically, allowing you to instantly switch back and forth between two user sessions. DUST provides an interface that is similar to the Windows Alt+Tab option to switch between tasks. In addition, it can also add a tray icon, that allows switching between the sessions from the system tray. The program word best on XP Professional, if you are using XP Home Edition the accounts to switch between must be either all user, or all administrator accounts.

Access Folders is a handy utility that provides fast access to your frequently used and favorite folders. After you paste the two text samples into the designated form fields and click the Analyze button, the program will present you with a probability percentage that indicates the likelihood of the two samples being from the same author. We tested it with a variety of text samples from known authors and the accuracy of the results was inconsistent. The program does not provide any technical evidence or details to back up the results of it`s analysis, making it difficult to give much credibility to the results. A-Number Sherlock Holmes only works with English text samples.
