Auto Shutdown Genius
Auto Shutdown Genius enables you to automatically shutdown, power off, log off, lock workstation, hibernate, standby or screen save your computers on a regular schedule or based on idle time and/or excessive CPU usage. You can create multiple tasks, combining daily weekly, monthly and one-time actions. Furthermore, you can choose to clean your browser tracks and empty the recycle bin whenever a task is executed. A notification dialog from the system tray warns you a few seconds before a restart or shutdown, and gives you the option to cancel the operation.
RSHUT Pro
RSHUT PRO is a system shutdown utility that can automatically shutdown and wake up your computer, remote computers in your home LAN domain/workgroup or corporate network. In addition, it enables you to execute remote commands, schedule actions, schedule specific actions for each day of the week or when the CPU usage is high and more. RSHUT Pro also offers workstation lock, monitor off, logoff, hibernate and support for ATX and Wake-On-LAN, allowing you to power networked computers on or off whenever required. The program can also be used to shutdown a computer across the internet.
ShutDownOne
ShutDownOne (formerly ShutDown+) offers quick access to a choice of shutdown and reboot options from the system tray. You can choose from shutdown, reboot, log off, power off and also lock the work station, or activate hibernate. In addition, the program also allows you to perform remote shutdowns for network machines and supports command-line operation, as well as automatic creation of batch files for any selected action. ShutDownOne offers scheduled actions, optional password protection, and it can perform a privacy cleanup (Internet traces, browser cache etc.) before each shutdown operation.
ActiveExit
ActiveExit enables you to control Windows shutdown behavior. You can automatically run a program before shutting down the computer, require a password to shutdown Windows and automatically log off users or shut down the computer after a period of inactivity, using the built-in ActiveExit screen saver. In addition, the program offers quick access to logoff, restart, shutdown, and other commands from the system tray icon.
Sleepy
Sleepy enables you to turn-off or lock your computer on a regular schedule, and also enforce that schedule by preventing the user from canceling the action. It runs as a Windows service, and can turn off machines, even if no user is currently logged on. You can create daily or weekly schedules and customize shut-down times on a daily basis, set a countdown timer, or use the included Sleepy screensaver to turn off your computer when it is no longer used. Sleepy can terminate processes, close message dialogs, warn users of the upcoming system shutdown, and also save open documents to a special folder. The program offers several temper prevention methods, integrated time synchronization, and more. Sleepy also offers network integration (additional per user charges may apply) that allows centralized control of client machines, batch install/removal, group settings and more.

Shutdown Lock makes it possible for third party software to force your PC into suspension or hibernation mode, rather than shutting it down. If you are experiencing issues with unintended shutdowns, cause by applications or maybe kids (hitting the shutdown button on your keyboard), you can give this software a try.
Energy Spy
Energy Spy is a small program to schedule a shutdown, reboot, logoff, poweroff, standby, or hibernate your computer. You can specify multiple schedules for different tasks. Energy Spy also supports command line options that allow power-off to be used in batch scripts. In addition, you can also specify a keyboard shortcut for any action.
iCPU Shutdown
iCPU Shutdown is a program to automatically Power Off, Restart, Logoff, Execute any program, Hibernate, Suspend or lock your computer. It includes options that allow you to perform an action based on CPU Usage or network/internet traffic as well as conventional actions including "Power off my computer in 2 hours" or "Restart my computer every Wednesday at 10:00 PM" etc. Another unique feature is the option to capture and save a snapshot of the desktop just before the requested action is performed. A unique program with some interesting features.
