FindinSite-CD (formerly Spy-CD) is a full text search engine for HTML, PDF and TXT CD-ROMs as well as DOC, XLS and PPT files. It is platform-independent and runs in most browsers. The FindinSite-CD Java applet is a powerful search tool with word highlighting. Spy-CD supports 14 languages and recognises most web character sets. FindinSite-CDcan be configured in many ways. Use the supplied FindinSite-CD-Wizard Windows tool to scan your web pages to build and edit the search database. It then builds search page for your CD. Both FindinSite-CD-Wizard and FindinSite-CD are fast and cope with large sites well. An alternative Java indexing tool, Findex, is also available.

CDMenuPro is a tool to create custom CD menus that will automatically launch when the CD is inserted. It includes 6 templates (additional templates can be purchased on CD) that can be customized to your needs, or you can create your own design from scratch, using background images, colors, buttons and more. The program includes a button editor to create your own button designs with optional rollover and sound effects. You can design your menu by using a WYSIWYG interface that allows you to drag and drop elements into place, insert buttons, text, AVI clips, images and more, and link them to your documents, programs, or other menu pages. CDMenuPro includes a text and image viewer that can be embedded.

UltraISO is an easy to use utility to create, edit and convert CD image files. It can edit CD image files directly, create an image from a CD-ROM or build a new one from files on your computer. You have the option to make the newly created image bootable and to specify the boot file. In addition, UltraISO can convert nearly all known CD image file formats to ISO format.

Hyper Publish allows you to create a catalog, a manual or web site quickly and without the need for HTML coding. It supports web publishing (with built-in uploader) as well as auto-install CDROM publishing with full-text search engine and optional shopping cart. Your project contained in a single hypermedia file that can be published in various formats, using step by step wizards. Editing of the HTML based pages can be done in a visual way, similar to a word processor or other WYSIWYG editors. Hyper Publish supports all common HTML techniques including font/styles, image maps, frames, forms, rollover images and more.

CD Front End allows you to create auto-start CD presentations. You can use it to distribute catalogs, brochures, software collection or anything else. When the user inserts the CD, he will be presented with a web-like interface, that you can design from within the program, using visual design tools. The program provides several templates to get you started and will create the auto-run files and everything for you, ready to be burned on the CD (burning software not included).

IphotoDVD is an easy to use utility that allows you to create DVD/SVCD/VCD compatible MPEG files from your digital photos. You can choose from various transition effects, set the display time for images and create NTSC and PAL compatible output files and more. The program only produces the MPEG file(s), and does not create the actual VCDs or DVDs.

AUTOption is software to enable users to create professional CD/CDR autorun/autoplay button menus with minimal time and effort. You can choose from several template designs and and optionally use your own photos or images as background. The menu buttons can launch applications or documents, open Internet sites, send email, open folders or show messages, and also link to sub-menus for additional options. Other features include animated button effects, button wizard and drop shadow effects.

Discstarter enables you to run autostart CD presentations or menus (HTML based) in a custom, borderless browser window. You can design your launch page in any HTML editor and use it as the start page for your CD and link to other pages or files (zip, exe etc.) on the CD. The size of the window can be customized and you can specify the system-requirements for your HTML-front-end (e.g. JavaScript, Flash etc.). If the target machine does not support these requirements, Discstarter can automatically launch an alternate page of your design, or display your front-end in the users standard-browser. The program provides an interface to configure the autorun.inf as well as the custom browser window, however it does no supply any templates or menu designs, nor does it assist in the actual creation of the presentation. The quality and appearance of the resulting autorun presentation depends solely on your HTML web design skills. If you cannot design a web page, the program will not work for you.

AutoView is autorun software for use on CDs/ CDRs. Upon starting of the CD, AutoView simply opens a document in the users viewer. If no recognized viewer is found for that document then the software offers the User a choice of viewers installable from the CD (which you create). AutoView is easy to use and setup. It offers a simple interface for you to set the parameters. The program does not show itself when the user runs the CD, except for the case that it needs to install a viewer. AutoView is a good, inexpensive choice for web based CDs, Powerpoint viewers and more since it starts displaying the content right away without prompting the user for any input.

CDStartDummy! allows you to create autorun CD-ROMs with a graphical splash screen and optional sound effect, custom CD icon. You can automatically execute any program or document that the user has a viewer installed for, including HTML, PDF, DOC etc. or launch Windows Explorer to allow the user to explore the contents of the CD. The splash screen can be designed as a JPG image of any size, using your favorite graphics editor.

CDCheck can check each of your CDs and DVDs and indicate which files are corrupted. It also provides a comparison option that lets you select a reference directory and compare the files on disk (or other media) with files on the CD or vice versa. Additional features include creation of CRC files, file recovery, detailed error reporting and more. Does not work with Audio Cds.

Autorun Action Flash is a tool to create CD start menus that can launch an application, a document, a web site or open Windows Explorer. It requires the entry of only a few variables, in particular one for the link (to the file, program, folder or net site you wish to open), and one for the length of time to show the flash screen. Optionally you can also enter commandline arguments if a program is executed. The flash screen is a bitmap which can be any size or dimension, created by the user. Additional images can (optionally) be added to incorporate animation of any frame count which can also be (optionally) cycled indefinitely as long as the flash screen is up.

AV Burning Studio combines tools to burn Audio CDs, Data CD/DVDs, Video DVDs and (S)VCDs. The audio CDs can be burned as standard AudioCD that plays on any CD player, or as MP3 or WMA CD/DVD that can be played on your PC and any stereo system that supports the formats. In addition, you can also create ISO files or burn discs from existing ISO/BIN/CUE files. The program offers an easy-to-use interface that simply lets you select the burning task, and add the files to be burned. It supports Dual Layer DVDs as well as Burnproof technology and can erase your CD-RW and DVD-RW media. Note: To create video DVD or (S)VCDs, you need to have properly converted media files and DVD folder structure.

AutoRun Architect enables you to create advanced AutoRun menus for CDs and DVDs that are to be launched on a computer. You can choose between quiet installations or launch menus that allow the user to install files or run programs and documents from the CD. The program can also install included viewers (if no viewer is found for a specified file type), read registry values, pass parameters to executables, display a splash screen, license agreement and more. AutoRun Architect can also implement password protected AutoRuns, that require the user to enter a username/password or authentication code in order to continue the CD launch, however this option does not protect the actual files on the CD, only the AutoRun menu. Overall, a very flexible tool to create simple as well as advanced CD/DVD launchers. Unfortunately it does not include any launcher templates or even graphical buttons that you can use, so the actual splash screen needs to be designed separately.

inDisc Recovery is a data recovery tool for scratched or defective CD and DVD discs. It supports ISO, UDF and Joliet formats on CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVR+R, DVD-RW, DVR+RW, DVD+R DL, DVD-R DL and DVD-RAM discs. The program is fairly easy to use, just point it to the disc that you want to recover data from, and it will scan the content and list any available files. You can preview the files as image or in HEX format and save them to your hard drive. The trial version is a demo and cannot recover any files.

CD Autorun Creator enables you to create autorun programs for your CD or DVD ROMs. The interface allows you to set command buttons that launch files or programs on the CD, use splash and exit screens, set effects and more. The program includes several templates, which can be customized with custom colors, backgrounds and your logo. The Assistant generates your .inf file and copies everything to your working folders and also allows you to test your autorun functionality without having to burn a CD.

CDView is a simple and easy to use front-end for picture CDs. It allows you to automatically launch a menu when the CD is inserted that shows a list of images contained on the CD. The user can choose to preview selected images, search for names, start a slideshow and set an image as Windows wallpaper. All you have to do is add the program to a CD and put your images into the image folder - the rest is automatic. You can also customize the appearance of the menu by adding your own background image. Fast and easy to use.

Sheilsoft CDMenu is a simple front-end for software collections on CD. It displays a list of programs contained on the CD and allows you to install selected application by simply selecting and pressing a button. In addition, it offers an option to display a comment and additional information for each item. CDMenu is configured via an INI file, that requires you to enter the path and files to launch for each program. The startup screen can be customized with your own background image. A simple, but easy to use front-end for your personal software collection.

Distribute your websites on a CD and have your home page auto launch upon start. CD Autostart Creator has an easy to use interface and lets you create and distribute CD s with an autostart feature in just seconds. Simply enter the name of the file on CD that shall be executed and the software automatically creates the autostart files: "autorun.inf" and either a 16-bit exe file (only 3.6k) or a 32-bit exe file (only 17.9k).
