WetSock provides accurate and detailed weather forecasting from the aviation reports at local airports. It brings you hour-by-hour daily forecasts in plain language and also provides detailed cloud cover information so you can stay informed about upcoming weather. The program is capable of showing information about more than 4,000 cities around the world, which can be selected from a menu, organized by country. You can view the current conditions for all selected cities from within the interface and can also specify up to 10 cities, to be displayed in your system tray.

Weather Clock is a replacement for the standard Windows system clock, that offers integrated weather information (current and forecast), custom alarm functions, time synchronization and a variety of different skins to choose from. It supports one-time and recurring reminders as well as hourly chimes, display of a secondary time zone, and can also open programs or files associated with an alarm.

InterWARN is a weather warning retrieval program that turns your regular internet connection into your own automated personal wire service for National Weather Service watches, warnings and statements including Storm Prediction Center watches and outlooks, and advisories from the National Hurricane Center. InterWARN allows you to get the information you want with options that include visual and audio alarms as well as the ability to save, print, and e-mail all incoming weather information. Not as user-friendly as other weather monitors, but comes with several advanced features.

StormPredator provides personal (almost) real-time NEXRAD doppler radar images from any location in the USA on your desktop. It comes with a storm tracking and prediction tool, that helps you track storms, predict ETA and plot storm paths. The program comes with a unique interface that resembles a real-life radar screen (with optional rotating beam) and customizable skins and buttons. Additional features include radar image processing, ground clutter removal, automated storm analysis and pop-up alerts as well as a computer model driven IntelliWeather Forecasts for over 60,000 US cities. StormPredator also provides access to national and state level interactive radars, weather warning status and complete weather bulletins for your area. In addition, you can measure distances on the screen, replay radar history and more.

WeatherAloud reads weather forecasts and conditions aloud from over 5000 locations worldwide. Wake up to your local forecast, listen to hourly temperatures from your favorite vacation spot, or hear conditions where your distant loved ones are. Frequent updates, current temperature in your system tray and complete control over when and what you hear make WeatherAloud a must for all seasons.

Weather Report Screensaver is a screensaver that displays the current weather conditions as well as a 5 day forecast for a city of your choice. In addition to the local conditions, it also displays an international weather map. You can choose from different color schemes and optionally select a MP3 file as background music. The weather information can be downloaded on a daily or hourly basis.

EarthquakeView is a software that tracks earthquakes worldwide and display them on an interactive world map. It can alert you by sound and pop-up window when a new quake is registered, and marks the quake on a world map using color coded circles to indicate the magnitude. The program also provides text details as well as Tsunami information, and you can zoom into the quake area using the integrated Microsoft Virtual Earth viewer.

HurricaneView is a severe weather tracking tool that automatically downloads the latest satellite images of tropical storm regions and assembles them into a movie animation that loops through the entire sequence of available images - allowing you to track and review the storm movement from beginning to end. The program also offers a thumbnail mode that can display a selected storm in a small video window anywhere on your desktop, allowing you to keep an eye on it while you are working. New storms are automatically downloaded and added to the list. HurricaneView is designed for tracking and review of storms, it does not provide any storm data or severe weather alerts.

Cli-Mate is is a weather information tool that provides general weather and forecast information for a cities of your choice. In addition, it gathers wind speed, visibility, sky conditions, dew point, barometric pressure, relative humidity, and heat index data from over 3000 US and international cities. Cli-Mate also comes with a graphing feature, that plots dew point vs. temperature history over the last 24 hours, as well as barometric pressure history. If you have Microsoft Agent installed, it can also speak the weather information aloud.
