OrangeCD Suite is an easy-to-use and powerful music collection database software. You can use it to easily catalog your CDs, vinyl records or MP3. OrangeCD will can detect the CD in your drive and download all relevant information from the Internet database, including track titles, album date, artist information and more. It also offers a full range of standard and user-defined fields, including recording credits, personal notes, covers, reviews and lyrics that can be added to each record. All the information can be exported to HTML pages using customizable templates, so you can even create and publish your very own music web site in few minutes. The interface is easy to use and provides a web-like navigation. OrangeCD Suite also integrates OrangeCD Player for improved CD playback features.

It first creates a database by scanning your harddisks, CDs and network for MP3 files, then you can group, sort and filter the resulting database in a configurable Explorer-style interface, even when the actual MP3 files are not available (because they are on a CD). The ID3 tagger supports batch updating of both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags with data retrieved from the filename, existing tags or manual input. Music Database 2000 is a database software to organize your music collection or music library. It is intended for DJs, Music Collectors, Radio Stations, Entertainers, Musicians, Churches, Record Stores and the like. The program offers several search functions and support import via CDDB, RPM DJ series, Promo Only series and MMS DJ series. It can also import an existing database or allows to enter data manually. Additional features include printout support, playlists, mass data changes and more. Uses a very simple, not overly attractive interface.

Bossa is an add-on for iTunes that enables you to schedule your music, create playlists, find artist information and more. The program uses a unique approach of tagging your music based on genre, artist and other ID3 information, as well as custom keywords. While this approach offers an innovative way of accessing your music, we found that it a little confusing and time consuming. The program allows you to create playlists based on your keyword combinations and schedule them to play automatically on certain days and times, you can even create playlists that run up to 24 hours. In addition, a feature called `the Lab` lets you retrieve additional information for the current artist via Wikipedia and view images from Flickr (which often returned rather odd results).
