Image Processing

WinWatermark enables you to add text and/or image watermarks to your digital images. It supports all common graphics formats (including JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, etc.) and can create transparent watermarks with optional drop shadow effects, customizable font, color and rotation angle. You can add multiple watermarks to an image in a single process and also save your watermarks a project files. Other features include file renaming and format conversion, image rotation, EXIF support and watermark preview.

Able Batch Converter enables you to process lists or folders of images. You can convert them to a different format, add image effects, resize the output images, apply color corrections and sharpening, crop images, swap color channels and more. RasterVect enables you transform raster images into a several vector formats. The raster drawings can be imported from a file or directly from your scanner. The resulting vector drawing can be imported by most CAD applications.

ClickPic adds right-click options to image files in Windows Explorer. It offers a small thumbnail preview directly inside the right-click menu, as well as handy options to quickly resize images, convert between JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP and TIFF, rotate and rename images. After installing ClickPic, simply right click on any image(s) and select the ClickPic menu item.

ReaJpeg allows you to both convert and edit images from most commonly used raster and vector graphic formats to JPG format. In addition, you can resize, crop, rotate, add borders, change colors and change the file names of the processed images. All operations can be performed in batch mode and the configurations can be saved, so that the same settings can easily be applied to a different batch. All modification can be instantly previewed with the built-in display.

Vextractor allows you to transform raster images into vector formats by building centerlines and outlines. It can be used for vectorizing of charts, maps, schemes, logotypes and other similar images. It features recognition of arcs, circles and orthogonal lines as well as polylines smoothing, noise filtering and more. Supported input raster formats are BMP, GIF, TIFF, JPEG, PCX and TGA.

PixGPS enables you to write GPS coordinates to the EXIF data your JPG files. It requires to use a GPS along with your camera and set waypoints or enable tracking. You can then use the track file from the GPS and synchronize the images with the GPS coordinates based on matching time stamps. Additional features include time adjustment options, Google/Mapquest lookup of the locations and export to text file.

Batch It! is an image processing tool, that allows you to resize and rename your images, add captions and watermarks, drop shadows and more. It can also add image frames, and apply several image effects and convert between PCX,GIF, BMP, JPEG, PNG and TIFF.

Image Comparer allows you to scan selected folders or drives and find duplicate images, or images that are very similar. The program can find all similar images even if they are in different formats (e.g JPG and TIFF versions of an image). It presents you with a list of the files found, as well as a side-by-side comparison, and you can decide to copy, move, or delete one of the copies. In addition, the program can also automatically mark the image that appears to have a higher quality, making it easier for you to decide which one to get rid of (if any). Recomposit is a digital matting and composition tool, that enables you to replace backgrounds in photos. The program works well, especially with chroma key backgrounds, but requires a lot of patience since interface is slow and not very intuitive.
