Font Tools

PopChar lets you insert characters from all installed fonts into your documents. It works similar to the Windows Character map, only faster, since you can just click on the desired character, and it automatically appears in your current document. In addition, it also offers a HTML mode, which will insert the HTML symbol code instead of the actual character. You can choose to exclude common characters (letters, digits and accents), inserts characters in `styled` or `unstyled` mode, and access the application from the system tray.

CrossFont enables you to convert TrueType and PostScript Type1 fonts between Windows PC and Macintosh platforms and also convert Type 1 fonts to OpenType. The program can automatically recognize supported font types and import compatible fonts from an entire folder or via drag and drop. CrossFont preserves font outlines and hinting and supports OX X data fork fonts (.dfont).

Scanahand enables you to easily create your very own custom font designs, without the need for any technical knowledge. As long as you have the artistic skills to draw the letters of your custom font onto a sheet of paper, the program can create a font from it. Scanahand works in 3 simple steps. First you print the empty template page, then you draw all of the characters using a black marker or felt-tip pen and then you scan the complete template into the software. Scanahand will build and install your font, ready for you to use.

It offers filter and search options to find specific fonts, install and uninstall of fonts, sample text preview, extended font information and more. Font ExplorerL.M supports TrueType, TrueType Collections,OpenType, Postscript Type 1, Raster and Vector Fonts.

X-Fonter is an easy-to-use tool to view all installed fonts and also preview uninstalled fonts. You can test any of those fonts in all color combinations, all styles, all sizes and even a 3D view and a character map with all ASCII codes are included. The 3D text can be saved as JPG image. The program can also install fonts from any directory.
