VRS Voice Recording Software is a multiple channel voice recording application that is designed to be used used for telephone line recording, radio station logging or control room recording. It can record up to 32 audio channels simultaneously with automatic start and stop if required. Additional features include signal processing to improve voice intelligibility, automatic level control, and advanced audio compression to reduce file size. Recording can be started by voice activation, hardware control, date/time schedule or manually (individual settings per channel). The program automatically organizes your recording by date and channel and can filter the display list to find specific recordings.

Spin It Again enables you to record your old 45 and 33 LPs and convert them to CD or digital audio format (MP3, OGG, WMA, and hi-fi WAV files) to be used with your portable MP3 player or iPod. It provides a wizard interface that makes it easy to connect your hardware and guides you through the process of setting up the recording process. The program can automatically split the tracks into individual files and remove clicks and pops as well as tape hum and hissing sounds. In addition to direct recording from an input device, you can also load existing audio files, edit them and split them into individual tracks. Other features include integrated CD burning, disk spanning, audio tagging, and more. The trial version can be used for up to 3 recordings without restrictions.

Audio Notes Recorder allows you to record and organize quick voice memos. It features two operating modes (Analog and Digital), three microphone modes (Normal, Spy, Voice Operated Recording), and your notes can be shared with friends or colleagues by export to WAV or EXE file. Express Dictate is a personal voice recorder software, that you can use to record memos and send your recordings to your typist or assistant by email, the internet or over your network. It supports direct recording via microphone, as well as import from portable devices or files and includes features such as automatic editing and voice activated recording. The recordings can be compressed to reduce file size, and optionally encrypted to protect your privacy. Express Dictate allows you to add additional notes to a recording, and can also prompt you for input data such as client name, case number or similar identifier, which are then associated with the recording. The program can record to wav, mp3 or dct file formats.

Lecture Recorder allows you to record lectures and at the same time attach written summaries to them while or after you are recording. It offers summary fields such as course, subject, date, lecturer, digest and notes that you can use to organize your lectures. The audio recorder offers real-time OGG audio compression, a built-in audio editor for making cut-outs as well as voice operated recording mode and transcription playback mode. All recordings are 8-bit, mono, with 44KHz as the default sampling rate, but you can also use 22KHz and 11KHz. You can record up to 8 streams simultaneously, and automatically split recordings into individual tracks. A built-in recording library enables you to manage all your recorded audio files and create playlists from selected songs. It automatically saves each new recording as a separate section and also offers voice operated recording mode. Features include an Exact Time Positioner (ETP) bar for quick and precise positioning within a recorded section, mouse wheel support and keyboard shortcuts. All recordings are 8-bit, mono, with 44KHz as the default sampling rate, but you can also use 22KHz and 11KHz. While recording the meeting, the program allows you to take categorized notes in regards to the agenda, action, closure and participants. Both text and audio are saved to the same meeting file that can be easily sent via email.

ABS AudioRoom CD Recorder and Editor enables you to record audio from any input source and burn it to CD. You can use it to record streaming audio, dub from tapes and records, or record from any other audio source connected to your PC. The program also includes a simple audio editor that can be used to manually split the recorded tracks (automatic splitting not supported) or cut out unwanted portions. RecordNRip allows you to record streaming music from online radio stations or other sources. The program automatically captures and record individual song tracks, converts them to MP3 format, and even includes a burner to create your custom CD from the recordings. RecordNRip also includes a song recognition engine that attempts to identify the track and name it correctly - this feature however may or may not work correctly for all songs (it worked for 50% of songs in our test). The program can also record from your microphone, CD player or other input source.

MX Skype Recorder is a simple utility, that enables you to record VoIP calls made with Skype, Google Talk, MSN and Yahoo Messenger. It can automatically start recording whenever it detects a call and save the conversation as MP3 or WAV file.
