Wise Registry Cleaner scans the Windows registry for invalid or obsolete information and presents you with a list of potential problems. To help you decide which items to delete, the program classifies them as `Safe to fix` or `Not fully safe to fix`. A built-in registry backup enables you to undo any changes, should problems arise from a clean-up.
RegScanner
RegScanner enables you to scan your registry and search for specific keywords contained in registry keys and/or values. You can set advanced search options to narrow down the results, restrict the overall number of results and limit the search to specific areas of the registry. The results can be exported to .reg file or HTML report, and double-clicking on an entry will open Regedit with the selected key.

RegSeeker is a handy tool for managing several popular registry items and searching the registry by keyword. It offers quick access to Startup Entries, Uninstall Information, Color Schemes, History items (URLs, Recent Documents etc) and IE Favorites. The program also includes a registry cleaning feature that finds invalid and unused registry entries, allowing you to delete them. RegSeeker can automatically create a backup before deleting any registry entries. The program comes with an attractive, easy to use interface. Nevertheless it is not intended for complete beginners and you should feel comfortable working with the Windows registry before using it.

Regmon is a Registry monitoring utility that will show you which applications are accessing your Registry, which keys they are accessing, and the Registry data that they are reading and writing - all in real-time. This advanced utility takes you one step beyond what static Registry tools can do, to let you see and understand exactly how programs use the Registry. NTRegOpt
NTRegOpt is a registry compactor that improves system performance by compacting the registry, removing any slack space that may be left from previously modified or deleted keys. The program does not modify any registry entries, so it is safe to use. Also supports commandline switches for unattended runs.
ERUNT
ERUNT (Emergency Recovery Utility NT) allows you to keep a complete backup of your registry and restore it when needed. The standard registry backup options that come with Windows back up most of the registry but not all of it. ERUNT however creates a complete backup set, including the Security hive and user related sections. ERUNT is easy to use and since it creates a full backup, there are no options or choices other than to select the location of the backup files. The backup set includes a small executable that will launch the registry restore if needed.
Registry Jumper
Registry Jumper is a small and simple utility that enables you to quickly jump to a specific registry path, without having to navigate there with RegEdit. Just enter or paste the path into the box, and the program will run RegEdit and open the desired key. The program saves each path in a drop down box, so you can return to it later by simply selecting it. Registry Jumper also supports command-line launching and can handle custom protocol calls (regjump://) to launch RegEdit from URLs.
MiTeC Windows Registry File Viewer
MiTeC Windows Registry File Viewer is a viewer for Windows registry hives of all (e.g. NTUSER.DAT, SYSTEM.1ST, SAM, etc. - not .reg files). It displays the file content in a tree view, similar to the standard RegEdit display and includes features like registry searching, dumping and exporting to REGEDIT4 format. The program also allows you to explore the NT/2k/XP security records. In order to view most of the supported files, you need to create a copy of them first, as they cannot be used while they are used by the NT/2000/XP system.
DiamondCS RegistryProt
RegistryProt is a standalone, compact, low-level, real-time registry monitor. By monitoring important locations and keys in the Windows system registry, RegistryProt will alert whenever a key is added or changed and then give the option of accepting the key change, reverting back to the original key setting, or deleting the key. A very useful tool to detect Trojan infection or other undesired system changes.
Test-Run
Some programs that you install may import values into the Registry that overwrite the original settings. Even if the programs are uninstalled, you may not get the Registry back to original. Test-Run provides a separate Registry especially for testing trial programs. After testing a program, you can switch back to your normal Registry and install it, or uninstall it before switching back. The program easy to use, and provides you with a visual reminder when you have the special test Registry in place.
RegEditX
RegEditX (Registry Editor Extensions) is a program that enhances the Windows Registry Editor. If you edit the same keys repeatedly, this is for you! New buttons activate frequently used commands, and a combo box stores a history of visited keys and allows quick navigation back to them. The keys are saved across sessions and available the next time you use the Registry Editor. In addition, RegEditX optimally resizes the list columns for better view
