It offers different scenarios, including standard synchronization, as well as Computer1 to Computer2 which options for deleting files. You can also define advanced rules that determine to include subdirectories and files, based on names, size and/or file types. Easy2Sync for Files can be run manually, as needed, or fully automatically as Windows service. The free version is restricted to 2 folders (no subdirectories) which severely limits the functionality and it is only useful for the most basic projects.

Easy2Sync for Outlook allows you to synchronize your Outlook Inbox with a second computer (e.g. laptop) across the network. Just select the local profile or PST file, and the target profile or PST file and start the synchronization. The program allows you to confirm which actions will be taken (optional deletion, synchronization, overwrite etc.). It synchronizes not only the messages, but also there status, including Outlook 2003 flags, so if a message it marjed read in the mirror, it will be marked read in the source as well. This free version is limited to Inbox/Outbox synchronization - additional folders can be synchronized if you purchase the full product ($49.00). Easy2Sync for Outlook works well, but performs extremely slow, especially with larger PST files.
Horodruin
Horodruin is a tool to synchronize 2 or more folders at once. It provides several filtering options based on file masks, access rights and more. Unlike many other folder synchronizers, it does not use a specified target folder but synchronizes folders among each other and you can limit copy actions with use of the masks or access rights. It s a little difficult to get started with, but quite flexible once you get familiar with it. The interface provides a preview that shows you which files are synchronized and which are not.
Easy2Sync - Freeware Edition
Easy2Sync allows you to synchronize two folders on the same computer, or across a network (for example to your Notebook). The synchronization can be started manually or by using the built-in scheduler. You can also initiate a quick synchronization from the tray icon and have it automatically synchronize every time you log off. Features include the option to delete abundant files and directories, creating of directories and more. The freeware version is limited to one folder. Very pretty butterfly interface, but limited functionality.

It offers different types of actions that let you choose how older and newer files are processed, which files should be excluded (by mask) and more. It offers standard file comparison based on the date and size, as well as optional MD5 checksum, which will detect even the slightest modifications to files. SyncBack also supports scheduled projects, FTP and zip compression of backups, as well as network login, simulation runs and more.
Allway Sync
Allway Sync is a simple directory synchronization tool that allows you to keep files in two folders synchronized. The folders can be on the local drive, network machine or removable drive, and the differences are shown before the synchronization takes place. You also have the option to exclude selected files or changes the default sync direction. The program analyzes file differences based on an algorithm, rather than the system clock. The free version is limited to 20000 files per 30-day period.
DSynchronize
DSynchronize is a standalone file synchronization tool that allows you to synchronize one or more folders on the local PC, removable drive or across a network. It supports file filters based on extension, bi-directional synchronization, and can be run on a regular schedule to synchronize your folders automatically, with an option to run as a Windows service. Other features include support for idle priority, folder creation, command-line operation and (experimental) real-time synchronization.
Tarylynn
Tarylynn synchronizes two folders and all subfolders within. It is useful for a quick backup to a network drive, or copying files to a laptop. The program is very easy to use, just select the two folders to compare and choose to copy folder from the left to the right or vice versa. You can also delete files that are not contained in one of the folders. The differences can be previewed, so you ll know beforehand what files will be processed.

ViceVersa is a utility which compares, mirrors, synchronizes and backups folder trees. You can choose from three different ways to compare your files: timestamp, CRC or both. Differences will be shown side-by-side, in a graphical, easy to understand manner. ViceVersa compares folders between floppy drives, hard drives, CD-ROM drives, zip drives and network drives (UNC paths supported). It can compare only files and folders that match Include and Exclude filter pattern lists which you define. In addition, the program offers a choice of six synchronization methods, supports Copy and Delete operations for manual synchronization as well as action preview and more. An optional Pro version with even more features is available for a charge.
TreeComp
TreeComp is an interactive utility that you can use to compare 2 directory trees and optionally synchronize the files within the directories. The program works with local folders as well as FTP locations and ZIP archives. After scanning the selected directories, the tree view shows the differences.
