PhraseExpress is a keyboard macro utility which manages all your frequently used text phrases from a taskbar icon and allows you to paste them into any Windows application with a single mouse click, a keyboard shortcut or a text macro command. The program is ideal for email reply templates, signatures, addresses, and any other information that you find yourself typing over and over again. It also includes powerful macro functions to launch programs, files or email messages, offers support for dynamic macro commands and comes with a unique text prediction feature. PhraseExpress is free-of-charge for personal use and the program is determining commercial by the phrase contents.

ClipGuru is a simple clipboard manger that keeps track of all data that is copied to the clipboard, and allows you to recall or save the data as needed. It lets you view clipboard data as text, image or HTML, and also provides a search feature to locate keywords within the clips. You can maintain multiple clip databases, each with up to 400 entries. ClipGuru can also suppress duplicate captures and provides access to the last few captures from the tray icon.

Clipboard Magic is a clipboard archiving tool, that can automatically archive any text copied to the clipboard for later access. Captured text may be copied back to the clipboard with a click of the mouse. Text may also be edited and added manually. You can save collections as clipboard lists, search and replace, drag and drop, serial paste and more. A zoom feature allows you to maximize each entry when needed. Runs in the tray and can auto-start with Windows.

ArsClip monitors the clipboard and keeps track of the entries. You can press a configurable hotkey and a popup menu will appear, allowing you to select an item and quickly paste it into a program or document. There is no additional window to launch or button to press! You can specify the number of items that should be remembered, as well as a set of permanent entries, allowing you quick access to frequently used text snippets (great for form filling).

ClipMagic is an advanced clipboard manager with rules and filters that let you automatically categorize new clips based on keywords in the text, size of the text or image, the program, or the website URL. You can file them automatically in the designated folders for instant retrieval, perform substring replacements and/or automatically paste the clip into a specified window. In addition, you can also also file your clips manually, as with other clipboard tools, or drag and drop them between categories. If you have copied an item from the web, ClipMagic also stores the address of the web page where you found your clip, and lets you return to that page with a single click. Another unique feature is the enhanced support for web text or images, as it autonmatically copies the portion of the source code as well and keeps it as a comment. Additional features include a built-in web browser interface, the ability to merge clips, send clips by email, convert bitmap images to JPEGs, enhanced memory management, spell check and more. A powerful tool with unique features that can increase productivity with many day-to-day tasks and is especially useful for internet research projects.

QClip is a simple clipboard enhancement that allows you to keep a list of items that were copied to the clipboard earlier. Just press CTRL-ALT-V and QClip will appear with all of your old clips, you can select any item and copy it back to the clipboard. The program only stores plain text clips, and the history is automatically cleared when you reboot or exit QClip.

ClipDiary runs in the system tray and automatically keeps track of everything you copy to the clipboard (text and/or images). It stores the information in a database and provides you with a list of recently copied items, so you can recall them at any time. If you come across text or information that you want to save, just copy it to the clipboard, and refer to it later.

Ditto is a full featured and network enabled clipboard manager that allows you to save items copied to the clipboard and optionally send them across the network to be shared with other users, and even keep the clipboards of multiple computers in sync. You can assign hotkeys to selected items, and quickly enter items by double-click or drag and drop. Ditto stores all snippets in an Access (.mdb) database, which can be searched, compacted and saved anywhere on your computer. Ditto is portable and supports U3 drives. Open Source, no documentation.

HovText is a small tool, that removes any formatting from text that has been copied to the clipboard. This means that if you copied rich text or formatted content and paste it into a rich text sensitive application (e.g Outlook email message or MS Word) the text will be inserted as plain text, without any of the original formatting. In addition, the program can also remove leading/trailing whitespaces or linebreaks and extract links (customizable) from the clipboard content.

CLCL is a clipboard caching tool, that automatically stores all items that have been copied to the Windows clipboard, allowing you to easily go back and retrieve images, text or other objects. You can also maintain a list of permanent items (Template), that can be used to quickly insert frequently used text snippets, images or other clipboard objects. The clipboard items can be accessed from the system tray or a categorized interface. The functionality can be further extended with several plug-ins, that include some text processing options like upper/lower case conversion, adding tags, removing quotes and more. Overall, this is a quite capable little program, but it does not include documentation, and is aimed at more technical users.

Yankee-Clipper is a powerful Windows clipboard extender/memory. The program handles Pictures, (Rich) text and URLs with no size limitations. Everything you copy to the clipboard is automatically sorted into the responding category, where it can easily be reviewed, deleted, saved or sent to other applications via the "Shoot" feature or via drag and drop. Additional features include printing, optional permanent storage of clippings (boilerplate) and more.

PureText is a useful tool to convert clipboard text into plain text and remove all formating. Usually, if you copy/paste text or paragraphs into a word processor or other rich text aware application, it will maintain all formatting including hyperlinks etc. PureText runs in the system tray and can convert the text in the clipboard with a single click. Optionally it can also paste the converted text directly into the document. The pasted text will have all formatting removed.

Clippy is an extremely handy tool to convert text from the clipboard, based on user defined criteria. Common uses include cleaning up email forwards by getting rid of the > symbols. However, there are many other options and uses that allow you to trim white space, remove duplicate lines, strip HTML and much more from your clipboard text input.

Xteq URL Bandit is a little program that monitors your clipboard and catches all URLs it finds. These URL are saved so you can later easily access them and don`t lose them when you turn your computer off. Also, URL Bandit will analyze the entire text you copy to the clipboard and extract all URLs. For example, if you copy a 1 MB text file with 200 URLs to the clipboard, URL Bandit will extract all 200 URLs. It will save you a lot of time especially if you receive a lot of eZines and newsletters that are always full of URLs.

Clipomatic is a clipboard cache program - it keeps track of any text that is copied to the Windows clipboard, and allows you to retrieve it and paste it back into a new document. You can simply press Ctrl+Alt+V to trigger the Clipomatic menu. The program can also maintain permanent sets of entries, which is useful for frequently used snippets (name,email,address etc), web forms and other uses.
