PhotoCDBrowser
PhotoCDBrowser is an AutoRun program for photo CD-archives in TIFF, JPEG, TGA, EPS, PCX formats. Upon insertion of the CD, the program will display a small navigation browser and show the photos in full screen mode. You can include background sound on an per-image basis, include optional background music and more. The user can zoom and rotate your photos or view them in slideshow mode. Additional features include an option to comment individual images and navigate through the collection via keyboard shortcuts. Creating your autorun CD does not require any programming, however requires you to read the (broken english) documentation and do some basic ini file editing and optional scripting to customize it. Nevertheless, if you are comfortable with that, and are not looking for a wizard style program, PhotoCDBrowser provides the functionality to produce some great photo Cds, even with multi-language support.

It allows you to create an attractive full screen menu for your CD that links to the CD content, launches applications and even web site links. You can play background music and link to sub-level of the menu containing file listings etc. The program is completely configured via an .ini file, which requires you to do some very basic scripting in order to customize it to your needs. With a little bit of work, MediaMenu allows you to create a very attractive interface for your CD.

All you need to do is select the folder with the documents, and one or more files that you want to be launched when the CD is inserted. A Pro version is available that lets you create a CD menu that allows the user to select a file or programs to launch (You can use the CD menu feature as part of the free version, but the created menu will only run on the PC it was created with.)

CD2TAPE is a tool to test your favourites CD tracks on your own designed TAPE layout. It features automatic computation of the remaining time for each side of the MC (musicassette) as well as internet support to access freedb (both cddbp and http protocol supported). This program cannot actually record your CD tracks to tape - it only allows you to design and test the layouts, then (optionally) print the labels.
Optical Info
