NetResView
NetResView is an alternative to the `My Network Places` applet, that displays a list of all available network resources from all domains/workgroups, including computers, disk shares, and printer shares. Along with it, the program shows the IP address, operating system and version, MAC address and other details. The list can be exported to text or HTML format.
ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter
ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter runs in the system tray and displays the current, daily and monthly bandwidth usage for selected network adapters. You can limit monitoring to certain periods during the day, adjust transparency of the meter display, and also choose to disable Flash and images in Internet Explorer. Useful if you have a limited Internet connection and need to keep track of your bandwidth usage.

AdvancedRemoteInfo allows you to gather detailed information from a remote Windows PC on the network. This includes information about hardware, installed software, network configuration, shares and printers, users and much more. You can also interact with the remote machine and terminate processes, start/stop services, send messages and even uninstall software remotely. AdvancedRemoteInfo also offers screenshot capture of the remote desktop, remote shutdown and batch operations to process multiple machines. The information can be exported to Excel , delimited or HTML format. You need administrative privileges on the remote machine to make use of all features.

SolarWinds NetFlow Configurator is an easy-to-use tool for remote configuration of NetFlow v5 via SNMP on supported Cisco devices. It also facilitates setting up collectors for Cisco NetFlow data, specifying the ports on which the collectors are listening, and enabling monitoring of inbound and outbound (ingress/egress) traffic data per interface.
URL Discombobulator
Lookup the IP address(es) associated with any valid domain name. Or lookup the domain name associated with any IP address (if the owner of the IP address has added the corresponsing PTR record in the DNS server authoritative for the IP address range). As a bonus, the program generates alternate "shrouded" URLs for any web site, and can display the ASCII Code table. Also includes a small database of domain country extensions (e.g .de, .es).
MultiPing Grapher
MultiPing Grapher is a graphical ping tool that allows you to keep track of up to 10 network connections, that are loaded from a text file (one host per line). The graphs display the current ping value, as well as the average value. As with any ping tool, you can adjust packet size and ping interval. MultiPing Grapher does not include any alert funtionalities.
Fping
Fping is a console program, much like the ping program that comes with Windows, but offers additional features. You can adjust the time between pings ranging from 1ms to 5s and have the program beep on every (un)successful reply. You can also ping multiple hosts with one simple command. Fping can use raw sockets, or ICMP dll.

Line Speed Meter measures your Internet connection speed and creates a report that includes the measured results for download speed, upload speed, latency and DNS lookup times. The program will continue the testing multiple times a day and create historical graphs and also compares your connection speeds to other broadband users. Line Speed Meter is a combination of software client and web service, and all the test results are stored online.
Performance Pinging
Performance Pinging is a simple, standalone tool to test the availability, response times and performance of a given IP address (or domain name), using ICMP. It can ping a host every X seconds and display a real-time performance graph of the results. In addition, it can write the results to a text file for later interpretation.
IPNetInfo
IPNetInfo allows you to easily find all available information about given IP address. You can check multiple IP addresses at the same time, convert host names (if you don`t have the IP) and also paste email headers and let the program automatically extract the IP addresses. It will then display the country/city, owner information, address and any other information returned by the whois server of RIPE, APNIC or LACNIC. The results can be exported to text or HTML.

FireLogXP
FireLogXP is a simple, yet very useful program for users of the Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) that comes with Windows XP. It reads the log file (pfirewall.log) and displays a list of all entries found. The data can be filtered to include/exclude selected protocols, connection types, and TCP flags. In addition, it can look-up hostnames and includes includes context sensitive to on-line resources that provide more information on the specific ports and known exploits.
eXpress IP Locator
eXpress IP Locator allows you to view the IP-address blocks allocated for specified countries. You can enter an IP address or hostname to determine the country, or select the country or country code to view a list of all Ip ranges allocated for the selected country. The program uses a local database and does not require any reverse DNS lookups.
OddGravity Network Info
Network Info is a small and simple tool that displays the ipconfig information for each installed network adapters that is connected to the computer. This includes the local IP-address, MAC-address, subnet mask and DHCP information. The program can also get your WAN IP, which is useful if you are behind a router.
